Goals from in-form winger Anayo Iwuala and defender Imo Obot ensured Enyimba returned to winning ways in their match-day six encounter against Adamawa United in a Nigeria Professional Football League fixture on Monday at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe.

It is Enyimba’s first away win this season, with the result taking them to third in the league table behind leaders Nasarawa United and Rivers United.

Iwuala gave the visitors the lead in the eighth minute, while Obot increased the lead in the 32nd minute.



In another match-day six fixture, Yahaya Nazifi’s brace in the 39th and 79th minutes handed Wikki Tourists a comfortable 2-0 win over Jigawa Golden Stars to help them move to 11th position.

Meanwhile, Rivers United will have the opportunity to return to the top of the league table when they face Kano Pillars on Wednesday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
